Spicy Pasta With Nduja


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. gemelli pasta
  • 1 Jar Sundays With Joe Arrabbiata
  • 6 oz nduja
  • Quarter onion diced
  • Basil (Handful)
  • Black pepper
  • Grated Pecorino Romano (as much as you like)
  • 2 tbs Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions and basil in olive oil for 2 minutes on low/medium heat
  2. Cook the pasta in salted boiled water
  3. Add sauce to your pan with the onions
  4. Wait 3 minutes and add Nduja
  5. Once pasta is cooked el dente, stain and add to pan along with 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  6. Cook all together for 3 minutes.  Add cheese and black pepper.
  7. Enjoy!

Spicy Rigatoni with Crumbled Italian Sausage


Ingredients

  • 1 lbs. of dry rigatoni
  • 1 Jar Sundays With Joe Arrabbiata
  • 1 lbs. ground Italian sausage
  • Handful of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat up olive oil in pan on low to medium heat.
  2. Add red chili flakes, thinly slice garlic, and chopped parsley to pan
  3. Let sauté for 1 to 2 minutes and then add ground Italian sausage to pan
  4. Cook till sausage is a golden brown
  5. In a separate pot, boil salted water over high heat. Once boiling, add pasta, cover and reduce to medium heat for 8 minutes
  6. Add Sundays with Joe Arrabiata to pan with sausage and let cook together for 6 to 7 minutes
  7. Strain cooked pasta and add to pan
  8. Mix all together and then eat

Spaghetti with Guanciale Sundays with Joe Arrabiata

  1. Boil salted water over high heat. Once boiling add pasta, cover and reduce to medium heat for 8
    minutes.
  2. In a separate pan, heat olive oil and add diced guanciale.
  3. Once meat is cooked, add sauce to pan.
  4. Strain cooked pasta and add to pan, stir all together.
  5. Top with fresh parsley and pecorino cheese.

Meatball Sub with Sundays with Joe Sweet Marinara


Ingredients

  • Sundays with Joe Sweet Marinara Sauce
  • 2 tbs Olive Oil
  • 12 Homemade or frozen meatballs
  • 1 loaf of French baguette
  • 1 ball of Fresh mozzarella cheese sliced into circles
  • Giardiniera relish
  • Grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Heat up olive oil in a pan on the stove on medium heat and add in meatballs, cook for about 8 minutes per side (use your judgement as cook time may vary depending on size).
  3. While meatballs are cooking, slice the baguette in half. Drizzle with olive oil and top with
    fresh sliced mozzarella. Bake bread in the oven at 350 for 5 mins or until the cheese is
    melted.
  4. Heat up sauce in a separate pan on low heat and add in the cooked meatballs, covering the
    meatballs in the sauce.
  5. Take the cooked baguette and cut it into about 6-inch sections. Open and fill with meatballs, sauce, grated parmesan and giardiniera relish.

Chicken Parm Sundays with Joe Sweet Marinara

  1. Preheat oven at 350F.
  2. Heat up sauce in a pan on low heat.
  3. Crack all eggs into a bowl and whisk until mixed into a liquid.
  4. Pour the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
  5. Butterfly the chicken breasts, wrap in plastic wrap and lightly pound them to tenderize.
  6. Dip chicken in egg wash and then breadcrumbs ensuring the entire chicken breast is completely coated. Repeat this step twice for each breast.
  7. Heat up peanut oil in a pan and Pan fry the chicken breasts for 4 minutes each side.
  8. Take out and let rest for a about 2 minutes.
  9. Top each breast with sliced mozzarella and place in the oven on broil until the cheese melts
    (about 2-4 minutes).
  10. Finish by topping each breast with warm marinara sauce.

Italian Sausage sandwich with Sundays with Joe Arrabiata

  1. Heat grill to 400-450F.
  2. Add sauce into pan on the stove and simmer on low-medium heat.
  3. Place sausages on the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side.
  4. Slice bread down the middle and into about 6-inch sections or the length of the sausages. Add slices fresh mozzarella in between the bread.
  5. Add sausage onto the bun and top with warm sauce, giardiniera, and a sprinkle of grated parmesan.

Mozz Sticks with Sundays with Joe Sweet Marinara


Ingredients

  • Sundays with Joe Sweet Marinara Sauce
  • 6 Eggs (whisked together)
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 15 Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 4 cups Vegetable oil (or as much as needed to fill up half of a large, deep pan)

Instructions

  1. Heat up sauce in pan and let simmer on low heat
  2. Pour the egg wash, flour, and breadcrumbs into 3 separate bowls.
  3. Heat up the vegetable oil to 350F in a pan made for high heat.
  4. Slice the mozzarella sticks in half vertically so they are long and thin.
  5. Dip the sticks in flour then egg then breadcrumbs, coating them completely: Repeat 2 to 3
    times per stick.
  6. Place sticks carefully in the pan and fry in vegetable oil for 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan and pat dry to dry off any excess oil, let sit for 2-3 mins to cool.
  8. Add warm sauce into a side serving bowl and put the mozzarella sticks on a plate.
  9. Serve, dip, and eat.
